We all want to keep what we have. We don’t want to lose what we see as valuable, for the fear of never getting it back.

The thing is, we as individuals, and all the things around us, are constantly changing. Many of these changes are good, we just have to open our eyes to see the goodness in them.

When you see the goodness in things, you will also recognize the things that have lost their value and are holding you back from success. These are the things that need to either change or be let go. These could be negative people, bad memories, a job, your mindset, or anything that holds you down.

Every bad thing that occurs, has equal goodness to it.

We just have to find it.

Every day starts off new, and every day we grow stronger.

As we move forward and try to improve, there will always be people, memories, and things out of our control, that try to pull us back. They may hold you back due to their fear of change, but we have to get past that and help others get past it as well, in order to continue to progress.

We have to be courageous and give others the courage to follow as well.

Those things, or people, that always hold you back, need to be let go. This may not be easy, but if you are being held down, then so too will everyone around you.

You have to push forward and help to lift up those around you. You cannot reach your full potential by constantly dragging the weight of problems behind you.

Try to bring up the things that hold you back, and if they pull back harder, then they need to be let go, no matter how hard that is.

Don’t hold on when holding on will only hold you back.

How To Control Your Emotional Environment

This is a continuation of our previous post How To Make Someone’s Day!

You create your own environment from the emotions you display to the world around you. If you are happy, sad, angry, stressed, excited or have any display of emotion, those around you feel it too.

It is part of our human nature to feel what others are feeling. So if you behave negatively towards others, they will likely display the same emotions towards you, and vice versa.

You can even try it for yourself, but I recommend you go with positive emotion, such as happiness for your trial.

For an entire day, no matter who you meet or where you go, be happy towards everything and everyone. Chances are you will make many friends and start the path towards another happy day tomorrow.

Wouldn’t that motivate you to change your attitude? Who knows, you may be the one positive thing that others around needed that day.

On the other side, others will gravitate away from you if you constantly display negative emotions that bring them down.

By constantly being stressed you put others at stress around you. By being sad those around you will feel empathy and start remembering sad things in their lives (this may make them seem angry towards you for bringing back those memories). If you are constantly angry then chances are you only have other angry people around you, with few kind friends. 

We all have the right to have our own emotions but know that your emotions create your environment around you.

We all have bad days, and even bad weeks, or times that are better than others, but life does not need to feed off of those bad times.

Take some time to understand and learn your emotions, to see how they affect your everyday life. Then use your emotions to your advantage by creating the world around you.

By engaging with your emotions you will also start to notice the emotion of others around you, and how they affect their life’s as well.

It is not our job to get into everyone else’s personal life, but we can help guide them along a better path, by simply feeding them the emotions they may need.

Maybe you see others that need some kindness in their world of hate, or maybe someone that needs some support in their stressed world. Or maybe you need kindness in your world, so you present that to others in order to create your own environment.

Again, if you feed others hate, they will likely feed it back to you. If you feed your environment love, so too will that come back to you. So start feeding your environment, give some love, and change your world today!

We are in control of our own world!

Emotions Are Contagious

We copy the emotions of those around us. When we are around people that are angry, stressed, sad or even happy, we too start to feel those emotions.

When you pass by someone that is smiling, your mind smiles too. When you see a frown, your mind frowns.

It is our natural instinct as conscious human beings to feel some part of what others are feeling around us. Some of us may seem hard as a rock on the outside, but on the inside, we all have feelings, whether we let them out or not.

Don’t be afraid to show how you are feeling and feed others your positive emotions so that they too can get that warm-fuzzy feeling inside. This is especially important to show those you love your warm-caring nature and positive vibes.

Your stress is only going to create more stress for them, while your calm nature can help settle them down. Don’t get frustrated with daily problems and instead just become a positive thinking problem solver that shows love at the most random moments, just because. You will all be happier because of it.

So as you go through your day, remember to smile, and be kind to those around you, because if you do, you just might make someone else’s day!

What You Get In Return

When you recognize your effect on others, you can see how that can motivate you to maintain a positive demeanor.

We should never force our personal beliefs and behaviors on others, but we can help raise up others around us just by being us.

We can stay positive while others may be negative in order to help change their outlook. We can be supportive while another is doubtful. We can display our self-confidence every day to those around us and help shape the world we live in.

We all need an emotional boost now and then, and we can’t help but feel more empowered when kind individuals around us display their positive emotions and confidence.

By being that beacon of light in every room you walk into you will help raise yourself up, as well as those around you. People will want to be around you for your supportive and humble confidence, which in turn will motivate us to want to be better.

It is always nice to be liked, and it is a great confidence boost to help us get past our own self-doubt.

Be motivated by the joy you bring to others!
